I used Samsung phones before they were good but not as good as iPhones . And I was a bit hesitant about flip phones and felt they were probably just a bit gimmicky and not worth the hype. Pleased to say I was definitely wrong about that and have been really loving my new Z Flip5. It’s a compact design, fitting into the smallest of bags and pockets . A lot lighter than my IPhone . Screen quality and colours are very impressive. I think I am converted to Flip . It has great features fast and battery last a lot longer . I can honestly say I am really surprised how good it is . I’m also big into taking lots of photos and the cameras are impressive- I particularly like how well the main camera works in low light. It’ was really easy to set up the phone , and easy to use. Overall, I’m very pleased with it and so many people have commented on it when I’m using it out and about! I tried zoom calls and teams app it has crystal clear screen and sound is perfect . I have installed Samsung kids and it is great , he loves using my phone . I have also been watching some films has an added bonus of watching in bigger or smaller screen . I know it is quite an expensive phone however all the features I have tired so far has been absolutely brilliant. Highly recommend it .

I chose the Lavender finish Galaxy ZFlip5 as it looked such a great colour online, upon opening the box I was blown away by the look of the phone, the colour was just as I’d hoped and the Rose gold accents on the frame along with the glass back gives it a very premium feel. Inside the packaging is very minimal, just the phone, a USB-C cable, SIM ejector tool and some documentation. A Charger would have been nice with such an expensive handset as this but i suppose this is done for ecological reasons as much as cost. Thankfully the phone came with 70% charge so it had plenty of charge for me to start playing :-).Using the excellent Samsung smartswitch application I easily copied all the data over from my old Android phone (nice that you can use this software with any phone, even Non Android). Once I started using the phone I knew I wouldn’t be going back to my old handset, I love the size, the look the ease of use. Its fast and the screens are so vivid. Talking of screens one of its best features is the cover screen, you can do so much on the cover screen with both apps and widgets that half the time you don’t even need to open the phone, this is really useful as the phone is such a talking point that whenever people see it they want to look at it and touch it, its definitely a phone for people who like to get attention.I haven’t used the cameras too much yet as it’s early days but the shots I have taken so far are really good, crisp, bright and sharp. The battery has been lasting me a couple of days but using wireless and fast charging ensures this isn’t really an issue. Some people have commented on the fold in the screen but honestly after a few days using the phone you don’t even notice its there. No going back to boring slab phones that all look a like for me, my ZFlip5 is staying with me.

The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5 is the new folding phone from Samsung, and it has some major improvements over the previous model, the Galaxy Z Flip 4.The Galaxy Z Flip 5 has a bigger and better cover screen, a faster and smarter processor, and a more versatile camera. But is it worth the money? Here are the pros and cons.Pros: The cover screen is 3.4 inches and lets you use widgets, a keyboard, and apps without opening the phone. You can also customise it with photos, videos, and GIFs. The processor is the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 for Galaxy, which gives you smooth performance, better battery optimisation, and more customisation options. The storage is up to 512GB, which is double the Z Flip 4. The camera has software enhancements that make your photos and videos more crisp and stable. You can also use the main camera as a selfie camera, which has been upgraded to let in more light and reduce lens flare. The camera also has new features like FlexCam, Quick Shot, and Portrait Mode.Cons: The battery capacity is the same as the Z Flip 4, which is 3,700 mAh. This means that you may not see a big difference in battery life, especially if you use the cover screen a lot. The phone does not have a headphone jack or a microSD card slot. This means that you will need to use wireless headphones or earbuds and rely on the internal storage for your files. The phone is expensive compared to other flagship phones that offer similar or better features and performance. Conclusion: The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5 is an impressive folding phone that offers some notable upgrades over the Galaxy Z Flip 4. It has a stylish and innovative design, a powerful performance, and a flexible camera system. However, it also has some drawbacks, such as a similar battery capacity, no headphone jack or microSD card slot, and a high price tag. Therefore, whether you should get the Galaxy Z Flip 5 depends on your preference and budget. If you want a folding phone that fits in your pocket and unfolds into a stunning display, then the Galaxy Z Flip 5 may be for you. But if you want a more affordable folding phone that offers similar features and sacrificed performance, then you may want to stick with the Galaxy Z Flip 4.
