   I have always been into sci-fi and tech and one of the pinacols of this (along with a universal house robot) is a robot you can play chess with. This is that!It Came very well packaged, with everything easy to assemble. The chess set is a standard size. the board is usb powered by the bot, with easy to use and understand buttons. The rest of the setup is from you mobile, this is also easy and allows changing of all the settings. its “head” is the display for the unit, i have a issue with it been too dark to see on most occasions with any ambient light in the room.The chess is fun! the robot can setup the entire board and that is a joy to watch, the ability to play at different levels is a must, and its AI learning to play against you will make it even better over time.this a quality product and well made, but its price is a tad high for most, but if you love chess it will be a investment.

   Getting this Chess Robot has completely changed how I enjoy the game. From the very first match, I was blown away by the way the robotic arm moves the pieces, it’s smooth, precise, and almost human-like in how naturally it handles the board. Instead of staring at a screen, I’m playing on a real set with a real opponent across from me, which makes every game feel immersive and exciting.What really sets it apart is the depth of features. With the AI levels, I can ease into lighter practice sessions or really test myself against tougher opponents. The exercises and dedicated endgame trainer have already sharpened my skills, and the voice coaching makes the learning process feel like I have a mentor sitting across the table. The fact that it syncs with the app and integrates with Lichess takes it to another level, I can replay famous games, analyze moves, or even challenge online players, all while still using the physical board. And yes, the arm takes about 8 seconds per move, but that’s part of the charm. The steady pace feels like I’m playing against a thoughtful human rather than just a fast computer. For me, that blend of tradition and technology is exactly what makes this robot so unique. It’s not just a gadget, it’s a full chess partner, coach, and trainer rolled into one, and easily one of the best investments I’ve made for both fun and improvement in chess.

   Honestly this Chess robot is the greatest thing I’ve ever received via the Vine Review program it’s so awesome to play against and use, the set up however has me worried which I’ll get to later in the review.The build quality feels good and not like a cheap kids toy which is good, the chess pieces feel and look really nice and very well presented in the storage box. The packaging is very good the foam used is of a very high quality and fairly dense well done!The robot itself has not made any mistakes in a live game when picking up, placing and setting up the board it’s amazing.Now for the set up, the physical process is simple and well designed that even a child could set up the robot but what I am really worried about is having to make an account to use 95% of the features and that account is held in china whilst the robot has cameras as well I have opted to not create an account and also be forced to download the app it could have been 5* but the account locked features lower that rating and also the price is higher than expected over £700 at the time of request so make that what you will.Overall the product has a lot of potential but its a shame that the functionality is limited by the need for an account.

   Noticed improvement in my play after just a few games. The responsiveness is quick and doesn’t need any fiddling around between moves. The board recognises pieces without error, and I’ve had zero misreads or skipped turns. It feels like playing against a real person who’s always ready for a rematch. Adjusting the level made it more useful for training. Reviewing matches afterwards helped spot patterns I’d usually miss. The whole process flows naturally, without needing to refer back to manuals or apps mid-game. It works well straight from setup and doesn’t interrupt play with unnecessary notifications. The quiet operation of the arm keeps the focus where it should be—on the game. Played a few matches with friends and it held up nicely even with quick inputs. Easy to pack away too when not in use.

   Der erste hochwertige kybernetische Schachroboter der funktioniert und höllisch gutes Schach spielt!
   Bei diesem Gerät handelt es sich um den ersten ernsthaften und hochwertigen Schachroboter der auch wirklich problemlos funktioniert. Der Roboter wirkt so hochwertig, dass man den Eindruck hat, er wäre aus einem einzigen Stück gefräst. Das fängt schon mit der hochwertigen Verpackung an. Man hat hier schon den Eindruck, das neueste iPhone auszupacken. Der Arm greift präzise, leise und vorallem sehr geschmeidig. Im Bedienbrett (darüber lässt sich über nur zwei Tasten bequem und komfortabel im Robotermenü navigieren und mit dem Roboter kommunizieren.Das ebenfalls hochwertige Schachbrett ist in das über eine integrierten USB-C Schnittstelle mit der Roboterbasis verbundene Bedienboard eingelassen. Es hat selbst keinerlei elektronische Funktion und kann bei einem Seitenwechsel problemlos manuell gedreht und dann wieder eingelassen werden. Die Figurenerkennung funktioniert rein optisch! Der Roboter beobachtet über seine Kameraaugen permanent, was sich auf dem Brett abspielt und reagiert unverzüglich bei falsch aufgestellten Figuren oder bei falschen und regelwidrigen Zügen.Bei dem Roboter handelt es sich NICHT um einen klassischen Schachcomputer, der sich nur durch den Roboterarm und der optischen Figuren- und Situationserkennung von anderen “gewöhnlichen” Computern unterscheidet !Das Konzept, welches hier gewählt wurde unterscheidet sich fundamental: es handelt sich um einen elektronischen Trainer! Das ganze Konzept ist auf Trainingsprogramme aufgebaut, welche durch KI-Anpassung an das Spielerniveau langsam aber sicher die eigene Spielstärke steigert! Natürlich kann man auch ganz wie gewohnt mit dem Roboter gepflegte Partien spielen. Dabei lässt sich seine Spielstärke bis zu 3200 angezeigte Elo (echte Elo!) hochfahren, wobei die angezeigte Spielstärke deutlich über der Anzeige liegen dürfte. Es kann sich somit eigentlich nur um neurale Computernetzwerke handeln, die hier eingesetzt werden. In der entsprechenden Spielstärke fegt er beispielsweise auch eine Genius-Engine in weniger als 30 Zügen vom Brett ! Das Witzige dabei war, dass der Genius die Züge des Roboters fast dauerhaft als schlecht bewertet hat, solange bis er nach 28 Zügen matt war! D.h. der Roboter spielt in einer anderen Schach-Galaxie! Somit nicht nur ein kybernetischer Leckerbissen, sondern auch noch Schach vom Feinsten!Das einzigste Manko dürfte, zum Zeitpunkt dieser Rezension zumindest, der Umstand sein, dass der Roboter nur Englisch spricht; ein sehr gutes und klares Englisch, aber auch nur das! Das soll jedoch bald durch ein entsprechendes OTA-Upgrade auf Deutsch, Französisch und Italienisch behoben sein. Auch weitere Funktionen und Fähigkeiten sollen dazukommen. Das gilt es aktuell aber noch abzuwarten.Wer damit kein Problem hat, hat auch keinen einzigen Grund sich diesen Schachtrainer nicht zuzulegen. Diese Investition, ja, es ist eine kleine Investition, ist er mehr als wert!

   The Sense Robot Chess set is excellent. The movements are smooth, the online integration works perfectly, and the AI difficulty keeps games engaging. It combines the feel of a real board with modern technology in the best way. I had one small hiccup with a promotion, but I’m confident the Sense Robot team will address it.

   Spielstärkster Schachroboter aller Zeiten
   Ich habe mir gerade den neuen Schach-Roboter gekauft und bin schwer begeistert!Der erste stark spielende Schachomputer mit Roboterarm. Es gab zwar schon früher selbstziehende Schachcomputer (manche mit Arm, manche mit einem Schienen-Magnetsystem unter dem Brett), aber alle spielten nur auf Amateurniveau. Bestenfalls.Die eingebaute AI hat 25 Stufen, die mit Elos gekennzeichnet sind. Von 200 bis 2900. Allerdings scheinen diese nicht gut geeicht zu sein. Erste flotte Partien deuten daraufhin, daß man im Geiste +400 Elo zu jeder Spielstufe dazuaddieren sollte. Aber da diese Stufen bei 200 Elo losgehen, ist das nicht tragisch. Auf der höchsten Stufe konnte sogar Stockfish 15.1 auf meinem Tablet nicht gegen den Roboter gewinnen, das Teil ist auf Maximalstufe wirklich extrem spielstark.Der Arm bewegt sich wunderbar geschmeidig und leise – toll. Ein Zug dauert ca. 8 Sekunden. Da Schlagzüge aus 2 Zügen bestehen (ebenso Rochade) dauert das entsprechend länger. Der Durchschnittswert über eine ganze Partie gerechnet ist knapp 12 Sekunden pro Zug. Die AI rechnet immer nur 1 Sekunde, das reicht heutzutage, man hat also keine Denkpausen.Alles wirkt (obwohl es das Gerät noch nicht lange gibt), sehr ausgereift, dazu sehr wertig und schwer. Irgendwelche Probleme sind bisher nicht aufgetaucht.Und das coole ist die Immersion: Da der Robotor einem am Brett optisch ja “gegenüber” sitzt und zudem das Ganze über eine Kamera funktioniert, der Roboter also auch auf das Brett schaut (wie ein Mensch), hat man das frappierende Gefühl gegen eine Person zu spielen. Denn das Brett ist eben kein Sensorbrett. Der Roboter schaut einfach mit der Kamera auf das Brett. Und greift sich die Figuren und zieht sie. Wie ein Mensch.Man kann den Roboter sogar dazu nutzen, um auf Lichess gegen Menschen zu spielen und der Roboter setzt dann die Gegnerzüge auf dem eigenen Brett daheim.Das Preis-Leistungs Verhältnis kann ich zudem nur als exzellent bezeichnen.

   Génial !!Que dire de plus, le prix est onéreux certes, mais d’une qualité exceptionnelle.Il est vraiment comme un homme, je peux enfin jouer aux échecs seule !ce robot m’a fait revivre. Compagnon d’échecs très intuitif avec des mouvements très fluides. La précision du placement est incroyablement parfaite.Je trouve les plus de 1200 exercices et l’entraîneur de fin de partie intégré particulièrement utiles, car ils vous aident à améliorer votre propre compréhension des échecs à long terme. La possibilité de rejouer le jeu permet d’analyser les erreurs avec précision et d’en tirer des leçons.
