Tom –
I purchased the Mammotion YUKA Mini 500 because I was honestly tired of spending so much time mowing the lawn every week during the summer. Even with a small garden, keeping the grass neat felt like a constant chore. Getting this robot mower has been one of my best recent purchases — I only wish I’d done it sooner! The build quality is fantastic. The unit feels solid, premium, and well-designed — not plasticky or flimsy like some others I’ve seen.Setup was a breeze. Between the user-friendly app and the large printed quick start guide, I had everything up and running in no time. No technical headaches at all.One of the standout features is the new iNav navigation option, which means you can use the mower without the RTK antenna as long as it has WiFi or 4G signal (yes, it has a built-in 4G SIM). This makes things really simple. However, the iNav service is only free until the end of 2025, and there will be a subscription cost after that. To avoid future fees, I opted to use the included RTK antenna station, which was very easy to set up and now sits discreetly in the corner of my garden.Battery life is excellent. It easily handles my small lawn in a single session and still has plenty of charge left when it finishes. I never have to worry about it running out mid-job.When it comes to performance, this mower is seriously impressive. It leaves behind clean, neat lines and does a fantastic job of mulching the grass, which helps keep the lawn healthy. It’s also very quiet — so much so that you could run it at night and no one would notice. The only downside is that it doesn’t come with its own storage garage. It is fully waterproof, so technically you can leave it outside, but I wanted that extra bit of protection. I ended up buying the official Mammotion garage (which is also great quality), but there are some more affordable options available right here on AIMartz. All in all, this mower has completely taken the hassle out of lawn care for me. If you’re on the fence, don’t hesitate — it’s worth it.

Very easy to set up and operate. Make sure you read all the instructions to create a route back from a task area, otherwise it will just sit and wait for you to lift it back.Worked well for about 10 days and then refused to charge itself. Made its way back to the station but came up with error 1200 and would not recognise the charger and eventually died. I even recharged the battery separately and once that deplted, it died again.Returned it via AIMartz returns on the 14th June and waiting on a refund.I will however buy another 700 but the deals today are some £300 more expensive than I paid last month.Support, via the bot wasn’t great tbh, usual, have you tried this and this and eventually it created a ticket and said someone would be in touch via email. That took 10 days and by that time I had returned it as I was going to run out of my 30 day period. The issue could be the sensor on the mower or the sensor on the charging station, or both…I will never know. You would think, or at least I do, that if you manually guide the mower and place it on the contacts it would automatically charge, even if powered off? Doesn’t do that though
