While this has a good camera on it, do NOT buy it.The camera system uses very cheap and weak Wifi hardware to connect to the internet, and will eventually burn out over time, rendering the whole thing useless. If you look at all the complaints about this product, they are almost all WiFi related (or about the app, which is also dreadful).Ours camera burnt out after 3months use, currently going through the process of warranty replacement but this is hardly something a new parent wants to be dealing with. Save yourself the eventual stress and do not buy it

Set-up was quite difficult. Picture and audio quality was great. Safety alerts worked very well. The big problem was that quite often the app would not connect to the camera, meaning you could not view the feed or get alerts, sometimes for hours on end. Then, after 22 months of unreliable use – the CuboAI just stopped working and would not turn on at all. Great product when it works, but if you want reliability and peace of mind, perhaps look for a different baby monitor.

Update:31/01/2024- new camera arrived and worked straight away- I must comment on the customer service as it fell out of the 1 year warranty period. Although the UK has a 6 year rule anyhow… all great stuff!25/01/2024- Cubo have kindly offered to replace the cameraMy Cubo Ai Plus which I started using from the 27th September 2022 has now fried and stopped working on the 24th January 2024. £300 camera set which lasted just short of 16 months!!I now have no camera etc all of a sudden in my little one’s room (would cause distress to most parents) and also she is used to the white noise out the camera which has stopped therefore another routine disturbance.Camera was due an update on the 23/01/2024 and it’s a such coincidence that it updates when the baby leaves the crib and then upon returning to the camera tonight it is dead.

We have been suffering from a poor connection at all times despite there are strong WiFi signals at the room.We are having mesh WiFi network and pretty much everything else works perfectly but not this one. Constantly it disconnects, we have to disconnect the app and reconnect and one session could last only for minuted.My other applicants at the same location, like streaming between local network, streaming online has no issue at all.We ended up buying another one elsewhere with half price and have solid connection now.We put 2 baby monitors next to each other and despite this one being double the price, it’s constantly disconnecting while the other one works as it should be with half price.Strongly suspect this product uses a faulty WiFi component and please avoid and don’t waste your money in here!
