This camera is brilliant. The picture quality is excellent, the PTZ operations are smooth. I control the camera using a PTZ plugin on OBS, I’m able to set/recall presets as expected. The camera also has a HTTP API, which Ivan (from the manufacturer) shared the documentation with me. This means I can control the camera PTZ fucntions via an Elgato Stream Deck, making it very easy for anyone to control my stream (with minimal training). It’s a great bit of kit, and Ivan has been very helpful and responsive over emails. Highly recommended, 5*, many thanks!

We added this PTZ camera to our live streaming set-up about 6-months ago. This review is just my personal opinion – spoiler, I really like it.I didn’t actually know what strength of zoom we needed for our size of church which is bit under 15m (48’) front to back. Could have been a 12x, 20x or 30x zoom, but I opted for the best I could afford in the budget I had, so thank you Black Friday. I’d been looking for a while and selected the FaMoKo 30x optical zoom, 1080p model with NDI support and AI tracking (FMK30UH NDI).We used it in NDI mode to go back to Mevo Multi-Cam Pro but have now switched over to OBS for streaming and still use a couple of Mevo Starts, also running NDI, as our left and right views. For control we simply use NDI Tools Studio Monitor with presets and the on-screen PTZ controls – its free and works. We switch scenes/cameras while moving the PTZ lens around and waiting for it to focus. My summary for you:• It’s a great piece of budget kit and been well worth the money.• Its been rock solid for 6-months now, no issues at all.• NDI has been completely stable.• Ethernet with PoE support perfect for us due to the camera’s location.• Its mounted on the back wall inverted (see photo) – all mounting h/w in the box.• Motors are silent, have never heard them.• Motion is fast and auto-focus is pretty quick, accurate and stable once locked on.• I’ve disabled digital zoom, as we don’t need even more magnification, could of got away with the 20x.

The remote control sometimes a bit difficult in use, but the camera picture and movement very satisfactory. The camera manual is dreadful! It needs to be re-written by someone with a least some command of English language and idiom.

From the outset this camera is superior. We live stream services and funerals each day and the seller was incredibly kind and helpful helping us with any issues we had. Happy to say it does exactly as it should and we cold it be happier. The price is the best on the market and delivery was fast and packed extremely well. I would not hesitate to recommend this camera and the seller.

We have four FoMaKo camera and use them every week to live stream or record church services and live events. Our originally purchased cameras were 20x PTZ HD models which we found to give excellent results so, also bought a pair from the same brand with auto-tracking.One of the new cameras is HD whilst the other is 4K which steps up the image quality even more.Recently emailed the manufacturer with a firmware request for the 4K model and they responded overnight. The latest version of the tracking firmware makes a huge difference and the panning action is really smooth. All of the cameras work with the “pantiltzoom” app which makes setting presets so simple.Although the cameras are moved from job to job, they seem really sturdy and we are impressed with the build quality.I do not leave many reviews these days but thought this camera deserved one : )

This is a very good quality camera system that is ideal for streaming events, podcasts etc. The 20x optical zoom is impressive and you can connect, power and control the camera through ethernet (assuming your ethernet can support PoE).The included remote control allows you to move and zoom but it would be best to use the optional accessory that allows PTZ control for smooth panning and zooming. You can output video via usb, ethernet and HDMI so there are plenty of options and the base unit has a 1/4″ thread that can be used to mount the camera on a tripod. This is a cost effective option for streaming and so far Im extremely impressed.

…but not quite there. The picture in low light is as others have commented on, a bit grainy. However, once the sunlight hit my room and I changed the video settings to HD, then I was impressed. I was able to zoom in full to my beard four feet away from the camera and the detail was great. 4K must be superb. That’ll be my next toy, lol.A steep learning curve but the camera has all angles covered (no pun intended) due to the flexibility of its connections. Through a mixer or through the LAN is the best way to get the most out of the camera. So many ways it can be used, very versatile. After all it is set up for live streaming. It’s equally happy, however just being plugged into a tv/monitor and used that way via the remote. From a simple setup to a multi-camera set up, this has got it covered. Only let down by the grainy picture in low light, but this is marketed for concert halls and such like, they’ll be well lit.One other thing I about it is, it’s 12V! It can be powered from a cigarette lighter socket. It’s portable enough to be taken for a day out to film yourself in action. Easy enough to find a way to get the video feed to your tablet or phone for recording. Yeah, I’m a happy chappy!
