I’m really impressed with the Lepro EE1 AI outdoor lights. Setting them up was straightforward and the app makes it easy to choose colours and effects for different moods or seasons. They look fantastic along the eaves and add a lovely touch to the garden, whether it’s for Christmas or just everyday ambience. The connection with Alexa works perfectly so I can change the lighting with a simple voice command. They feel durable and have handled the rain without any issues. Overall, these lights are a great mix of style, tech, and convenience.

If you like tech and want even the simplest things to be elevated to ‘smart’ status then these lights tick that box. The 15m ‘string’ is actually two separate strings that connect to two outputs on the same power supply. Each of the two strings only has 15 actual lights which seems a little on the low side. However they are very bright on maximum and so still give a good effect. You can mount them via 3M sticky pads or screws both of which are supplied.So who would have thought you would need to download an app to control Christmas lights?!. The app seems stable and is easy enough to get up and running, you will need your Wi-Fi pass key to hand. It then detected the lights straight away. It all seems a tiny bit invasive just to get some lights working in my opinion. I would say the functionality of the app is OK but could be better implemented. You can set up pretty much whatever colour scheme and pattern you want IF you have the will and patience to do so. I found the voice commands more miss than hit with frequent misinterpretations. Personally I found having the lights pulse to music on my phone novel but probably not something I will use much. At the end of the day you get a string of bright ultra flexible high quality lights that have many novel features. However when I first saw the voucher price of £93.49 I thought there was a mistake in the listing!. This does seem like an awful lot of money for a set of lights so you really need to love the smart side of things for this to be of value to you despite the high quality they undoubtedly are.

Wow this makes your home stand out from the others in the street.The sequence of changing colours are absolutely stunning.Easy to install with screwing in clips or 3m sticky pads.When selecting rgb every colour comes on in a slow motion and its absolutely stunning. Very highly recommended and worth the money

Wow what a set of lights! Intelligent, waterproof and full of variations. Reading the description I thought that’s a lot of things these lights can do, nothing like the usual put up and take down outside Christmas Lights.The first thing is these can be left up, one job that’s it. They look fine while off, white and minimal. 15 metres of well made, robust lights. The variation of combination of lights seems endless. Easy to use and personalise. Download the Lepro app for everything you need to control, design your lights. Works also with Alexa and Google Assistant, very handy. There are literally thousands of different ways these lights can be set, they can dim, brighten, timer, flash of course in all sorts of ways.When I downloaded the app, I was give a 3 day trial and £4.99 per month there after. I did get a bit confused by this because I assumed the app would be free. On research it turns out there is a free version but like all free apps the access is limited to a basic version. I personally find this free option fine, there’s enough to play with. However, if you want the full potential you will need to subscribed. You can connect via Google or Alexa but the access is also basic, but again personally I find it fine. Includes a handy positioning card for ease of measuring.At the time of this review £109.99, might seem a spend but worth it. Strong, waterproof, permanent, with loads of control. Smart lights with some amazing possibilities and functions.
Here’s our thoughts –
I’ve been playing with these lights for a few weeks and they genuinely learn what I like; tell the app a few preferences and the scenes get smarter each time. Voice control via the app works well and saves me fiddling with presets. Music sync is a fun party trick, the timers are handy for evening routines, and they survive rainy nights as long as the power box stays dry. These are incredibly customisable and easy to install – Im looking at getting more now to properly do my house!

A completely waterproof 15m string of LED lights. These can be easily installed to shine up or shine down from eaves. WiFi 2.4hz and Bluetooth. WiFi to be controlled by Alexa or remotely by app on phone. No separate remote to loose over time.Cord comes with screws, tape, etc to be attached permanently. I prefer the attaching to underside of Roof eaves. The light can be multi colour patterns at Yuletide and during parties as well as can use a single colour to be security lighting. Very versatile and easy to install… with a ladder. Very well made, highly durable to be able to be used for many years. A simple tap tap, lights on, so can see along entire side or back of a home…varies by size. I have a set for front and back of house. Excellent value for the years of illumination.
