I really really like these translation earbuds in love the fact that you can understand someone who is speaking a different language to me and it says it back to me in English very well made and would most definitely recommended them

Very comfy . Battery life last days. Better buy than I thought

The app you use with this is the Earjoy app (I’m Android so got that off the Play store). Earjoy gets two stars. The reviews mention a couple of things that were not true in my experience (you can’t change the default language and you need a code which never arrives to get the app working – neither of these claims were true for me).Doubtless the Earjoy app isn’t very good, but you only need the Translation module to work and that works pretty well.In the list of languages it doesn’t mention Cantonese which I believe is Chinese as spoken in China. It only mentions Mandarin which I believe is Chinese as spoken in Hong Kong. But I think I inputted Chinese and it was translated fine. I’ll try again when I get to China and I’ll buy another translation device if it doesn’t work. If you buy a translation device it’s worth checking 1/ the app which it uses. Is it any good, and 2/ checking that it translates to and from the languages you intend to use! 3/ whether the vocabulary for the languages you need is built into the device. For example, this device doesn’t have a core set of languages on the device – to translate and interpret you need a connection to the internet.

Really comfortable over the ear. Sadly the placement of the speaker unit doesn’t hang properly for my ears (I’ve probably got odd lugs, lol). This in turn doesn’t give me the best quality that the unit definitely does have. The app is intuitive and works well. The speech recognition and translation is great. Helps a lot nowadays.
