AI Vision Inside
Enjoy a smart way to manage your food. AI Vision Inside(2) intelligently simplifies your daily food management. Using an internal camera(1), it can identify certain fresh food items when they are put in or taken out and allows you to manage a food list(3) that can also be checked from the SmartThings App(4), while also letting you view images of what is in the door bins. Also, it can suggest you relevant recipes and let you manage ‘Use by date’ by manually setting the date
(2) As of March 2024, AI Vision Inside can recognise 33 food items. If the food is not recognisable, it may be listed as an unknown item. AI Vision Inside cannot identify or list any food items in the fridge door bins or freezer. It recognises food items based on deep learning models, which may be updated periodically to improve accuracy.
(3) The user may need to manually operate the list for accuracy.
(4) The SmartThings App is available on Android and iOS devices. A Wi-Fi connection and a Samsung account are required. You must use the same login account on both devices.

If a recipe is recommended, any essential or missing ingredients can be added to the shopping list simply with a touch or voice command, which prevents duplicate purchases and food waste down the line. And if you synchronise the list to your phone, you can easily check it when you’re grocery shopping next.
