   The OTTOCAST Play2Video Ultra is a 2025 Upgrade which works perfectly in my car which basically converts your wired Car-play into a wireless system compatible with both iPhone (iOS 10+) and Android (11+), my car recognized the adapter immediately and paired very well both on Wifi & Bluetooth running Bluetooth 5.4 and dual-band WiFi (2.4/5 GHz), this adapter already has some apps pre-installed and works like a multimedia AI Box with streaming applications like Netflix, YouTube, AIMartz Video and IPTV which is good and has the ability to install around 5 more which i have not tried yet.All this is running of a Quad Core processor and 32GB of internal storage so its quite nimble flicking through the menus and settings etc, quite a nice useful item for the family while travelling.

   I was looking for a way to make my wired carplay wireless and this box has been a great solution especially because the setup was quick and once connected it switches automatically between wireless CarPlay and Android Auto. I can use maps, calls and music without dealing with cables and the connection has been stable with no lag or dropouts so far. The entertainment features are a big plus because having Netflix and YouTube built in makes long trips way easier, especially when passengers want to watch something not to get bored. I also like that I can add more apps if needed and even play offline videos from a usb drive. The box itself is very compact so it can easily fit in the car and I barely noticed that it was there. The interface is simple to use and I can control everything through the steering wheel buttons or voice assistant which keeps driving safe. The fact that it supports online updates means it should stay useful for a long time(i’m curious to see for how long but still it is a good feature). For me the flexibility is what makes it stand out. In my household both iphone and Android users drive the same car so being able to switch instantly between CarPlay and Android Auto has been very convenient, this is why this product feels like a proper upgrade that makes the car smarter and easier to use.

   This is hands down one of the best upgrades I’ve made to my car. The OTTOCAST Play2Video Ultra instantly made my wired CarPlay wireless, and it works flawlessly. No lag, no dropped connections, just smooth navigation, music, and calls. What really impressed me was the built-in entertainment apps like Netflix and YouTube which are perfect for keeping passengers entertained on long trips.Setup was simple, and I love how compact and sleek the device is, it’s powerful but doesn’t clutter the dashboard. Switching between CarPlay, Android Auto, and video mode is quick and effortless, which is great since we use iPhones and Android devices in my household.If you’re tired of plugging in your phone every time you drive, or want a little more fun on the road, this is absolutely worth it.

   The wifi adaptor’s compatibility with both systems is great. It can, however, also operate wirelessly on the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz frequency bands. I love how fast the device boots up when it has been set up and connected to a wireless network and Bluetooth. By converting OEM wired CarPlay plus/or Android Auto connectivity to wireless, the device lets you experience up to five built-in apps, such as Netflix, YouTube, TikTok, AIMartz Video, and IPTV. Please be advised that you cannot download or install more apps to this device. I had no trouble utilizing the regular CarPlay and Android Auto applications with my Acura and Infiniti. I would suggest that you make sure your car is compatible before making a purchase. Once a wireless connection was established, YouTube, TikTok, Netflix, and AIMartz all operated smoothly with little to no audio or video lag. This product is fantastic. Setting it up is simple; just connect via Bluetooth and insert the device into the USB port on your automobile. The interface is clean and surprisingly fast, and the wireless connection removes the need for untidy cables hanging from your dashboard

   This is a review of the OTTOCAST Play2Video Ultra 2025 Upgrade AI Box. Which was priced at £129.99 at the time of posting this review.My car supports both Carplay and Android Auto, both in wired mode but it can be a bit of chore remembering to play in my phone every time I get in the car, not to mention the countless times I’ve then left my phone in the car as well.This device paired very quickly and now I have the choice of Carplay or Android Auto wirelessly and I can keep my phone in my pocket. This is a great solution.I haven’t needed to use the additional power cable or the USB-A to USB-C adapter which were supplied in the box.The use of my car’s large screen for watching the apps is so much better than viewing on my phone (obviously only when parked up – only drivers are distracting enough – I couldn’t put up with videos playing when driving).I like that there is a USB-A port on the end of the device to store downloaded videos etc. and I’m not restricted to the built in storage.Being able to leave the device permanently plugged into the car is ideal so it’s available every time I start the car.Overall, I am impressed with this Ottocast wireless adapter.
