I purchased the sensor on January 20th and received it the very next day, just as promised. The setup was super simple – I installed the sensor, downloaded the app, and connected it to my Wi-Fi without any issues. I wanted to monitor my energy consumption in real time, so I tested it with my microwave and dishwasher – you can see changes in the app as soon as you switch an appliance on.I’m still exploring all the features, but I can already tell this is a great tool for anyone looking to better understand and manage their energy consumption.

I took the sellers advice and had an electrician fit it for me although apparently it is very straightforward. Setting it up within WiFi was a bit involved, very clear and easy to follow instructions in the package but it isn’t a plug and play situation. However don’t let that put you off it really isn’t difficult as long as you follow the excellent instructions. We wanted to measure the power consumption in the garden annexe and this does the job perfectly including not only total power consumption but also that of the individual devices in the annexe. Very clever and better, probably, than I expected.

I recently bought this sensor. The delivery was super quick – it arrived faster than I expected, which was a nice surprise. The installation process was straightforward, thanks to the clear step-by-step instructions provided. I’m not exactly a tech expert, but I had it up and running without any trouble. What I love most is being able to track my energy consumption at the appliance level. It’s eye-opening to see exactly how much energy each device is using.Another cool thing is how user-friendly the app is – everything’s presented in a way that’s easy to understand. Definitely recommend this sensor.

Really nice bit of kit. Simple to setup and it gives great insights into energy usage. The monitoring get better over time as it learns, which makes it more useful the longer you have it.

Does not recognise cycles dryer/heater dishwasher. Dishwasher being used daily but app shows when ever it wants. App takes alot time to update it self whats being used. If you looking for accurate reading look for something else for the price. Magnets could be more stronger really lose does not hold well . Overall for the price there is better products. And make sure take a picture of device side whit details before installing. I installed than had to remove to get details for wifi connection.

fairly easy to install, the best feature is the little magnetic contacts to pick up power to drive it, so installed and connected to the app in 20 minsjust one caveat so far, the install process says it’s not optimised for houses with solar, but see below ***experience is that you need to list everything . IE tell them you got a wine chiller otherwise it messes with their computation for the regular fridge (makes sense) . If in doubt go to their support operation — this had a bit of a low ebb over the end of 24 — and tell them about your installation

I had got a plug in energy monitor, but sent it back. They can only show info on one item, and you would already know that from a rating plate. It loses the info when you unplug it. Minimum it reads is 500watts.This is far better, it is more expensive. You would probably get pay back in around 6 months. So far after a couple of days, I have found the app a little slow to respond sometimes, but good and learning. It hasnt always recognises main appliances, but I guess there is a learning curve. Its interesting to see what your background consumption is, it is this that will make up the majority of your electric bill. You cannot help how much energy your kettle, washer or dishwasher uses.(Apart from putting less water in the kettle)But you can control those 20-30 chargers PSU’s and standby devices, go count them….I got my background consumption down to 18watts.From about 150W.That was just stuff plugged in or left on, because I wasnt using it just now….The connection to live and neutral are magnetic, but I think I will prefer to hard wire them, but I need to change my conumer unit.
